Psalms 2:8-12

8 ‘Ask of Me, and ^aI will surely give ^bthe ^{▼▼ Or Gentiles}nations as Your inheritance,
And the very ^dends of the earth as Your possession.
9 ‘You shall ^{▼▼ Another reading is rule
,} ^fbreak them with a ^{▼▼ Or scepter or staff}rod of iron,
You shall ^hshatter them like ^{▼▼ Lit potter’s ware}earthenware.’”

10 Now therefore, O kings, ^jshow discernment;
Take warning, O ^{▼▼ Or leaders}judges of the earth.
11 ^{▼▼ Or Serve}Worship the Lord with ^{▼▼ Or fear

And rejoice with ^otrembling.
12 ^{▼▼ Lit Kiss; some ancient versions read Do homage purely, or, Lay hold of instruction}Do homage to ^qthe Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For ^rHis wrath may ^{▼▼ Or quickly, suddenly, easily}soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who ^ttake refuge in Him!
